The cam position sensor and crank position sensor are the same part number. The crank position sensor is located on the right bank of the engine block (passenger side in the US), below the starter and rearward of the oil pressure switch. There's a picture on page EC-325 of the factory service manual. The cam position sensor is located on the
back side of the cylinder head, just below the valve cover and just above the engine coolant temp sensor. There's a picture of it on page EC-332. Here's a link to the EC section of the 06 Frontier FSM: The Nissan P/N is 23731-6N21A. Rockauto.com has the sensors in Hitachi brand, which makes the OE sensor, as well as NTK, which is also very good and makes the OE oxygen sensors for Nissan and is the same company as NGK, which makes the spark plugs for Nissan. The Hitachi is a little
more money but has a longer warranty. Either is about 1/2 the price of genuine Nissan. It's best to stick with OE parts when it comes to these sensors. Nissan 22448-EA000 is the part number for an ignition coil pack. Joined Mar 3, 2014 · 11 Posts
