John Baugher 5 out of 5 stars posted 6 months ago The folks at Frederick Window Tinting are super nice and easy to work with. I texted and chatted with them over the phone explaining what I wanted and they had no problem setting up an appointment. Even called me before to let me know they could get me in days earlier. I plan to take my other cars in and now I see they do home windows, I’ll have even more for them to do. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone Andrew Ayers 5 out of 5 stars posted 1 month ago Picked out the S9 for the 90% UV protection. Turns out I had old tint and a bunch of leftover glue from the previous owner, I gladly paid the fee to have it removed and cleaned up before install. They were quick, efficient, and attention to detail was incredible. This is the second vehicle I’ve had tinted there. They are a family run shop, they do great work and they have a cash discount that I happily pay. Good tint ain’t cheap, cheap tint ain’t good. For example on this Model 3, it displays a 80% VLT without tint. Our most recommended set up for Tesla Model 3 is to do 35% for all side windows and 50% on the rear windshield.
What is the best tint for a Tesla? When tinting your Tesla, remember to avoid a metalized window film. With all the modern technology used in a Tesla, it's best to opt for a ceramic window film. LLumar's FormulaOne Stratos (listed above) is a great example of a quality ceramic window film that won't affect your vehicle's electronics.
