3.0 out of 5 stars Solved my problem, but was a pain to install

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on 21 August 2022

Verified Purchase

Installed in a 2001 Honda Civic when my previous power window regulator broke (the cable came out of the cable guide and no amount of tinkering could get it back in).

Installing it was not easy... none of the holes lined up after one side is screwed in. After several hours of messing around with it I managed to finagle some situation where the holes aligned just enough, and got it installed.

To my disappointment, once it was installed I realized that there is no auto roll function, like the previous part. Other than that it works fine and I now have a working window.

This part did not fit my 2002 Honda Civic

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 7, 2022

Ok, first of al I was shocked to find this 2001 Honda Civic left driver’s side power window replacement motor here on Amazon! Not only that but the price was hard to believe. I paid 87.00 for a USED power window regulator on my 2000 Chevy blazer at the local pick a part three years ago because it was 175.00 new in box. So yes I was a bit skeptical but it was on Amazon and if it didn’t work I would simply send it back. So I bought it. But to be honest with you I bought this thing several months ago with the preconceived notion that I would with part in hand would find a local mechanic to install it for me. Ha, cheapest quote was well over a hundred bucks so I sat on it. Months go by so the return to Amazon option at this point was no longer an option. After examining this unit I was seriously impressed with the quality, it is honestly perfect in every dimension, it looks like a factory part! Included with the part was absolutely nothing lol, no instructions no diagrams no nothing. So it’s off to the World Wide Web, where I searched install replacement drivers side window regulator on 2001 Honda Civic and there it was. I’m not sure I’m if I’m aloud to provide links to other websites so I will say just do what I did and you will find a site that starts with 1A and ends with Auto there you will find a very comprehensive video that will walk u through step by step start to finish. After watching this video I was certainly glad I didn’t pay anyone over a hundred bucks to install it for me as it took my 45 minutes start to finish to disassemble remove old unit install new unit and reassembled the entire door. Yep, I was impressed.

Or I could just say…, Fast delivery great service 2 thumbs up to Amazon, Great product super value easy install and it works perfectly! Thank you

Either way I would not be lying.

Thank you….
