Other Pet Friendly Lodging Resources Making The Choice To Travel With Your PetIf you’re like most pet-owners, your pets are an important part of your family, and as such, part of your travel plans. Luckily, while traveling to Yellowstone National Park, you don’t have to leave your best friend at home or boarded in a kennel while you travel. We offer designated cabin accommodations for both you and your pets to stay while in the park. Available locations include the following:
Yellowstone National Park is a natural environment with free-roaming wildlife. Pets are particularly at risk of being injured by park wildlife. For your pet’s safety and the safety of all the park’s wildlife, you need to keep your pet leashed or restrained at all times and not left unattended. Your pet may not be more than 100 feet from established roads and parking areas. Pets are not allowed on trails, boardwalks, or in the backcountry. Service animals used for the sole purpose of aiding a person with a disability are permitted in all accommodations, but should be clearly marked as a working animal. No pet fees are assessed for service animals. Pets whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Federal regulation dictates that we are unable to provide transportation for your pet on our buses and snowcoaches (other than service animals). Please consider this when making reservations for those activities.
