The OSHA Outreach Training Program is intended for workers covered under the OSH Act. The Occupational Safety and Health Act covers private-sector employers and their employees in the 50 states and certain territories and jurisdictions under federal authority. For this reason, OSHA Outreach Training Program classes must be limited to training conducted within OSHA's jurisdiction. While the OSHA Outreach Training Program course is voluntary and does not meet the training requirements contained in any OSHA standard, some states and local jurisdictions have enacted laws mandating outreach training. Additionally, some employers, unions, and various other jurisdictions also require workers to have this training to work on job sites and to fulfill their own safety training goals. How Long Is This Training?This training will take a minimum of 30 hours to complete, and is limited by OSHA to a maximum of 7 1/2 hours of training per day. Our standard four-day delivery format will include 7 1/2 hours of training over four successive days. How Else Can I Take This Training?Our instructors are only authorized for classroom delivery of this training. Classroom training is offered both through open enrollment or by employers hosting their own on-site training. You can request a quote for on-site training conducted at your location. Training topics can be customized within the procedures set forth by OSHA. On June 27, 2011, we applied for online delivery approval through OSHA and are awaiting their response. Is This Training OSHA Approved?Our trainers are authorized by OSHA to conduct this training and students receive DOL issued student course completion cards. The OSHA Outreach Training Program is not a certification program. Outreach Training Program trainers, students, and curriculum are not certified. OSHA never approves trainers or classes. After successfully completing this training, students will receive a downloadable certificate of completion (within 24 hours) and will be mailed a course completion card (allow 3-4 weeks for card delivery). How many times can I take the OSHA 30 final exam?The final exam for the online OSHA 30-Hour course has 100 questions and the online OSHA 10-Hour course has 40 questions. What score do I need to pass an OSHA course? OSHA courses only allow 3 attempts for all checkpoint exams, as well as the final exam. The final exam requires a minimum score of 70% to pass.
