I am in the market for a new SUV, but the one thing holding me back from Hyundai is the lack of spare tire. From what I can find the Santa Fe PHEV SEL trim comes with a spare tire, but the Limited does not. For the Tucson PHEV neither trim comes with a spare tire.

My question is would I be able to mount a spare tire to the underside of a Santa Fe PHEV Limited? Or would the compartment under the floor of the trunk be big enough to fit a spare with the dividers removed? How about a full size spare?

I am in the US for reference. Thanks for your help!
