Google Photos is a great way to store your images and videos in the cloud so they're accessible on any device, in any location, and easy to share with friends and family. To ensure your photos are stored in Google and accessible on any device, download Google Backup and Sync for your computer, your Android devices, and iOS devices. Backup and Sync ensures your photos are safely stored in Google Photos, freeing up storage space on your devices, and that your activity is synced across devices. If you accidentally delete a photo or video, Google keeps it in the trash for 60 days before it's gone forever. But, you can retrieve it before that happens. Here's how. Google keeps photos in your recycle bin for 60 days. You can also manually empty the recycle bin before the 60 days, and if you do, any photos you sent there are gone. There's also an option to permanently delete an individual photo, and any photos deleted this way cannot be recovered.
