TIPS FOR MAKING AIR FRYER CHICKEN DRUMSTICKS:

  • We use chicken drumsticks for this recipe but you can use wings as well. With wings, you will need to cut down on cooking time.
  • Use any type of oil that you like, we enjoy the flavor of olive oil but if you do not keep that on hand ,vegetable and canola work fine.
  • Do not overcrowd your air fryer, this keeps the chicken from getting crispy and cooking properly.
  • You'll want to make sure that your chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F degrees. I recommend getting a kitchen thermometer if you don't already own one.
  • Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towels before seasoning. This helps the seasoning stick onto them better.
  • You can easily double this recipe for larger families, just make more batches. As stated above, do not overcrowd the air fryer.
  • You can adjust the seasonings to your liking. This is the flavor we like best, but you can adjust to your preference.
  • Make sure to preheat your air fryer before cooking. It's just like preheating your oven, it will help them cook faster and evenly.
