It is not washable and should not get wet. Once the Carbon Odor Filter has been replaced, press and hold the Replace Carbon Odor Filter Button for 3-seconds to reset the indicator.
How often do you change filter in Homedics air purifier?This device has a HEPA filter that can capture up to 99.97% of dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite debris, and smoke. People will need to change the filter every 3 months.
What does red light mean on Homedics air purifier?The UV-C button on the control panel will flash RED when the UV-C bulb burns out and needs to be replaced. The UV-C button will change to blue once the bulb has been replaced. NOTE: The air purifier will continue to operate without the UV-C function when the UV-C bulb burns out.
Which side of air purifier filter faces out?If your filter is on the wall, the arrow should face the wall. Does your filter not have an arrow on it? First check again as nearly all filters do have it, likely in the corner of one of the sides. If it does not have an arrow though, you'll want the side with the wire-frame to be facing outward.
