Ice maker was extremely loud and the bin kept freezing my vegetables. After many technical calls they finally replaced the refrigerator with a new one. Now the ice maker is better than before but the bin is still freezing up and I have it set at 40deg. Like the other one we had before.They ordered a compound to plug the vent holes again but they did the same thing before and it still froze. The problem is a bad design. I probably will never buy another Frigidaire again and I might have to go the consumer’s Service if this doesn’t fix the problem.

After one year, I'm ready to just give up and get a new fridge. Some examples: 1) The shared wall between the freezer and refrigerator is poorly insulated: vegetables on the refrigerator side, placed against the wall, regularly freeze. 2) The vegetable drawers do not slide easily, often requiring a real yank. 3) One shelf in the freezer barely fits, and often collapses. 4) One of the hard plastic door shelves simply cracked when I was putting a bottle in it, so I need to purchase a replacement (after just one year!)

We had a French door with bottom freezer model previously and I was a bit worried if this new one would be large enough. We have found there is plenty of space. I love the side by side model for the freezer because now I can see everything! We enjoy the water/ice dispenser, however, the ice dispenser is a tad aggressive and often a few pieces end up on the floor. I wish it would fit a tall water bottle, but we are making it work. It looks great and fits perfectly in our small kitchen. Overall we are pretty happy with our purchase!

After the second time, the repairman suggested purchasing anything other than an LG or Samsung (the most popular at the box stores). We stuck with a reliable name and are so far very happy with the results. It's only been about a month but we like the side-by-side features. Easy to see food in the fridge and the freezer. The shelves on the doors are deep enough to hold milk and juice bottles. The fridge makes tons of ice and the simple design to switch from water to cubed ice to crushed ice on the door is nice. All in all, a good fridge.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mar74 from Nice Appliance, need some tweeking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after 18 years my old Frigidaire staredt to have issues, so I upgraded to this model, no issues and it works great, one incident was with the ice cubes, I noticed a small water puddle by fridge last week, upon inspection I found 4 ice cubes glued together and they were stuck at the outside hole of the ice dispenser and slowly melting, I opened the freezer door and removed them. it has not happened again. suggestion: to make the "water, cube and crush" buttons backlit instead of having a lit dot on top of them that way we can see what I'm choosing in case its dark.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Partyofsix from Hands down-the absolute worst refrigerator! My sister purchased one just like ours and we BOTH have the same complaints. It has an ice dispenser and it doesn’t just give you ice, it spits it out like freaking he!! fire. Our floors have ice EVERYWHERE. Every single time we get ice, we get completely aggravated. Our floors get soaked. Our refrigerator also freezes anything on the left side close to the freezer size. Veggies...frozen. Fruit...frozen. We just stick meat in there to freeze. We will never ever purchase another.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from After 3.5 years, the ice maker has failed I contacted the manufacturere after observing rush in the ice maker after a year of ownership, they basically told me too bad..... now, after 3.5 years the ice maker has stopped working all together. Do not buy this product, it sucks & the company doesn’t give a crap about the enduser, customer. Buy LG or Samsung, they’re far better for just a few bucks more.

It is pretty and easy to keep the exterior looking very nice. I like the roomy storage and the three drawers at the bottom of the refrigerated side. It keeps the food at the temperature that I set. The freezer side is fairly roomy and does a very nice job keeping the frozen food frozen. The ice maker is efficient and I always have ice--nice small cubes that fit in portable drinking jars. I left my old home with a Frigidaire refrigerator that I bought in 2000--only had one service call during that 19 year time, and it is still working well.
