Ford raptors for sale in my area

The Ford F150 Raptor debuted in 2010 as the Ford SVT Raptor, giving Ford fans a no-nonsense off-roader with plenty of performance to go with its flair. The 2013-2014 Ford Raptor comes available in four-door SuperCab and SuperCrew variants, but box choices are limited strictly to a 5.5-foot box. Special Fox Racing shocks and 35-inch tires provide the Raptor with its 11-inch front and 12-inch rear suspension travel for high-speed off-road travel. The Raptor provides plenty of motivation with 411 hp on tap thanks to its 6.2L V8 engine and six-speed automatic transmission combo.

Inside, the 2013-2014 Ford F150 Raptor offers plenty of comfort features, including heated and cooled leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, power-folding mirrors and high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights. The Raptor also features a customized LCD productivity screen that lets you monitor the vehicle’s pitch and bank angles while off-roading.

Other noteworthy, standard features that are available on this generation of Ford Raptor include:

  • TORSEN® front differential
  • Available “digital mud” decals
  • Integrated clearance lights
  • Optional 17-inch wheels with tire bead-lock rings

2017-2018 (Second-Generation Ford F150 Raptor)

The Ford F150 Raptor returned in 2017 after a two-year hiatus. Now based on the thirteenth generation of the Ford F150, the second-generation Raptor sports an all-aluminum body and bed over its boxed steel frame. This generation of Ford F150 Raptor also receives a comprehensive redesign both inside and out, including a very prominent dark-colored grille with the letters “FORD” emblazoned across the front. The front fascia also maintains the integrated clearance lights seen on the previous generation model.

Another big change to note is the switch from the fire-breathing 6.2L V8 engine to a “High Output” version of the smaller yet potent 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine. Despite its small size, this V6 engine puts out 450 hp for an increase of 39 hp over its predecessor. The second generation Raptor also features a terrain management system that gives you six driving modes – normal, street, mud, weather, rock crawling, sand and baja – to play with for better on-road and off-road performance.
