Sue Priest I needed to replace the side view mirror on the drivers side of my 2005 Nissan Maxima. I went to the dealer and the price was outrageous! Fortunately the parts rep suggested that I try on line. Your company was very helpful and I was able to replace the mirror for much less than the dealership asked. Service was very good. The Gen 2 Prius initially had an issue with the lights and to get Toyota to replace a headlight was like $325 -for one- because their official shop manual said you need to take off the front bumper cover, take out the entire headlight assembly, then change the bulb (something like a $200 part for Xenon HID) and reassemble. With enough googling you can figure out Amazon sells the bulb for $80 and if you had small hands, a mirror and a lot of patience it is possible to replace the bulb "by feel" without removing the headlight assembly. But when they go out, they go out - completely, You can restart them but each time the duration they burn is less. If you keep trying to turn them on eventually you will wear out the starter mechanism which is even MORE expensive to replace. It is true that safety should trump everything else, but more than likely that is what you were seeing. The HHR you used to have to turn the wheels to pop some plastic rivets, reach up under and behind the wheel well cover to get to the bulb. In my old Cavalier you could change the headlight in the 30 seconds or less just by raising the hood. This video shows you how to replace a burnt out rear turn signal on your 2013 Ford C-Max. We recommend that you change both the driver and passenger side bulbs at the same time on your C-Max as they get dimmer over time and if one is out, then the other one is likely to burn out soon. If the turn signal (also known as a blinker or flasher) blinks rapidly or doesn't blink at all or lights up without blinking when it is turned on, this is your C-Max's way of telling you that the bulb is burnt out. Turn your hazard lights on and check the front of your C-Max and then the back, whichever side is not lighting up is the side with the burnt out bulb. When changing the turn signal bulb in your C-Max, be careful not to touch the glass portion of the bulb with your fingers as this will cause the bulb to burn out prematurely.
