Hello, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I'm sorry your having problems with this vehicle so I'll try to help you with this issue. The website may prompt if you want a call, but that would be up to you. The [engine](/topics-engine-ford/) will likely not start at all with the cranksensor removed. And give me a min. as I look up the codes to see what the procedure to check them.

Is this my crankshaft position sensor?

so those codes are for cam sensors.

No I believe that was a cranck sensor but the pic. was not a big enough screen for me to be certain. and here is a test procedure for those codes.

the cranck sensor should be just to the right of the [ac compressor](/topics-ac-compressor-ford/).

I can see it is but where's the second one located

Kurt Mulling

the other ones are in the front of each head.

one on the left is up obove the ac compressor the other is above the [power steering](/topics-power-steering/) pump and yes those are the cam sensors .

Still not sure what you need?

Have a certified mobile mechanic diagnose what's wrong with your car, at your home or office.

What others are asking

Car runs rough until warm, and then runs fine.

I would have a technician inspect your rough idle (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/car-idle-is-rough-inspection). He will probably also check for codes on the computer. It may be the air temperature sensor malfunctioning if it idles rough only when it's cold. You may be able...

temperture sensor

VW / Audi has had lots of "issues" with sensors in the early 2000 model years. 2003 is one of them. The coolant temperature sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/coolant-temperature-switch-sensor-replacement) is one of the most common. While it's not unusual for a coolant temperature...

Transmission

Odds are that something inside the transmission has failed. If for instance the front pump has failed, there will be no hydraulic pressure within the transmission. Automatic transmissions rely on that hydraulic pressure to move as well as shift up...

Which side is Bank 2 f150?

The bank 2 sensor 2 is on your right when facing the truck from the front or drivers side. The sensor is in the exhaust after the catalyst. The bank 2 sensor 1 is just below the exhaust manifold before any catalyst.

What is the camshaft position sensor bank 2?

Replacement Bank 1 & 2 Camshaft Position Sensors Set of 2 - The camshaft position sensors determines the rotating position of the camshaft to regulate spark timing and fuel injector operation in sync with the crankshaft sensors.

Are Bank 1 and Bank 2 camshaft sensors the same?

Q: Are bank 1 and bank 2 sensors the same? Bank 1 and bank 2 have similar sensors. However, bank 1 has two sensors, of which sensor 1 is located near the engine before the catalytic converter, an upstream sensor called pre-CAT, and sensor 2 is located after the catalytic converter called post CAT, a downstream sensor.
