A leveling kit done right! This kit comes with new upper strut mounts that increase the front ride height while maintaining the factory ride quality. A small pre-load spacer is combined with a top spacer to properly achieve height without the problems associated with the common top spacers on the market today. Due to a variation in the factory strut mount in earlier models, a minor change was made to the preload/bolt ring plate in order to get proper fitment on the 2014-16 models.

More that just a "leveling kit", at the heart of this 2" system is a pair of specially tuned FOX 2.0 Performance Series IFP coilovers. These non-reservoir coilovers are preset for the correct lift height right out of the box and use a threaded body to allow preload adjustment. This new 4" system is built with all the same features and benefits of the 6" version. Full replacement 4" struts give the proper ride height in the front and the rear kit provides a 4" block to replace the factory 1.25" block. Like the 6" version, this system is FMVSS126 compliant.

This new suspension system utilizes the tried and true high-clearance IFS suspension design that has made BDS the preferred suspension lift for the 1/2 ton GM trucks.

These 8" suspension systems offer even more tire clearance that and are designed to improved your truck's offroad capability. At the heart of these systems BDS utilizes the tried and true high-clearance IFS design that has made BDS the preferred suspension lift for late model GMs. This consists of a pair of newly designed 1/4" thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers and differential skid plate to reposition the lower arms while adding underbody protection and strength. These combined with the specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles allow this system to maintain proper geometry for ESC system compatibility. Up front these kits use a multipoint differential relocation kit and to securely reposition the front differential to correct CV axle operating angle and allow use of the stock front driveshaft with the supplied boot spacer. Along with retaining the factory geometry, factory ride quality is maintained at the new height using a set of BDS branded top mounted strut spacers allowing for quick and easy installation. Is 4WD lifting worth it?

Higher performance is generally ensured with a lifted 4WD: better clearance, higher traction, a more robust ride, and being able to use larger wheels. All these allow you to do more with your 4WD and test it to the limits.

What are the disadvantages of a lift kit?

A big downside of the lift kit is that the frame is more visible than it was before and gaps can be seen in the fender wells. Unfortunately, due to placement of the body, factory bumpers are not raised with the body. A common complaint with lift kits are the frame visibility.
