The finalists for this year's Super Bowl clash have been confirmed, with the Cincinnati Bengals taking on the Los Angeles Rams for the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Super Bowl LVI takes place on February 13, when the two teams will go head-to-head in the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles—the Rams' home ground.

The Bengals are chasing their maiden Super Bowl victory. Until this season, they hadn't won a playoff game since 1991.

The Rams, on the other hand, are seeking their first title as a Los Angeles-based franchise, having previously won their only Super Bowl title as the St. Louis Rams in 2000.

Both sets of fans will be flocking to the SoFi Stadium next weekend to watch the big game live.

Here's all you need to know about Super Bowl tickets and any COVID rules surrounding the event.

How Much Are Super Bowl Tickets?

Tickets to the Super Bowl are traditionally one of the most sought-after in sport. More than just a sporting event, the Super Bowl is an entertainment colossus and one of the biggest TV fixtures of the year.

As such, ticket prices have become increasingly expensive, with loyal fans willing to shell out staggering sums of money in hopes of witnessing what would be, for many, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The average price for tickets to the very first Super Bowl in 1967 averaged just $12— about $90 adjusted for inflation.

Fans could only dream of such prices nowadays, with seats for the big game priced well into the thousands of dollars.

Ticket prices for Super Bowl LVI are set to be the most expensive ever.

The price this year is, in part, driven up by the fact that many Rams fans will not have to pay for travel or accommodation costs to see their team play.

The NFL's verified Ticket Exchange sale platform is selling its most expensive tickets for $180,000.

Last year's Super Bowl tickets sold for an average of approximately $6,200, with the cheapest ones sold for around $4,000.

Is Attendance Capped?

The 2021 Super Bowl in Florida took place with a limitation on the number of people who could attend due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Approximately 25,000 fans watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs last February, despite the stadium having enough capacity to seat over 65,000 fans.

This year will see the return of a full capacity Super Bowl crowd, as there are no rules in place to limit the number of fans attending the big game.

The SoFi Stadium has a 70,240-seat capacity and organizers expect the Bengals v Rams clash to take place in front of a full house.

Fans attending will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, and wear face masks while not drinking or eating.

During the recent spike in cases due to the Omicron variant, there were rumors that the venue would be changed, though speculation was quickly dismissed.

The NFL Will Distribute NFTs With Every Ticket

For the first time, those lucky enough to attend the Super Bowl will receive an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) alongside their ticket.

The bizarre souvenir will be digitally given to each ticket holder as a memento of the big game, with each one being exclusive and personalized in accordance to their seat.

The NFL has dabbled into the emerging world of NFTs earlier this season, having distributed a total of 250,000 of such digital tokens over the course of the season.
