The Giants still had their share of doubters after they started 3-1, but consecutive wins over the favored Packers and Ravens have forced the football world to take notice of Brian Daboll's team.
Saquon Barkley continues to look like his former self, the defense is getting better each week under Don "Wink" Martindale, and the team is well-coached overall. The Giants have already exceeded their 2021 win total and have a prime opportunity to pick up another victory this weekend in Jacksonville.

The Jaguars are trending in the opposite direction. They've dropped three consecutive games after a promising start to the season. Jacksonville hasn't been able to put a complete week together during this rough stretch. The offense looked much-improved against the Colts in Week 6, but the defense allowed 389 passing yards to Matt Ryan and gave up a go-ahead touchdown pass in the final minute.
The Giants' aggressive defense won't make it easy on Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars' offense, so the margin for error on defense is even smaller for Jacksonville this weekend.

The Jaguars' outlook at 3-4 would be much different than at 2-5. If the Giants continue to play sound football, snapping the losing streak could be an uphill battle for Jacksonville.
