Manufacturer Recommendations:

  • Heat Press Settings:
    • 356°F
    • 180 seconds, rotate, press for another 60 seconds
    • Medium pressure
  • Oven Settings:
    • 375°F
    • 7 minutes
  • Bamboo Lid Care Instructions:
    • Recommend washing the bamboo tops with dish soap and leaving them out to dry.
    • To remove odors, soak the top in vinegar. Mix equal parts hot water and vinegar in a bowl, and let the top soak for up to 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and towel dry.

    Sublimation space is indicated in listing pictures

    • Preheat Convection Oven to 375°F.
    • Tape transfer to bottle with heat tape.
    • Using shrink wrap sleeve:
    o Place glass with transfer attached inside the shrink sleeve.
    o Use a heat gun to shrink the sleeve to the  glass.

    For best results, heat the shrink sleeve on the opposite side of the transfer paper first. Once shrunk, heat the rest of the shrink sleeve against the transfer paper. This ensures a tight, flat shrink sleeve fitting against the transfer paper.

    Place wrapped glass in the convection oven to heat for 10-12 min.
    o After heating, removed glass from oven and let cool. DO NOT submerge glass into water to cool.
    • After cooling, remove wrap. Discard shrink wrap (if used) and transfer paper.

    How do you sublimate a glass can?

    Best Time and Temperature for Sublimating Glass Cans Rotate the glass 180 degrees and press again for a total of 240 seconds. If the entire glass could not fit into the mug press, flip the mug so the other side can be pressed and repeat: 120 seconds, rotate 180 degrees, 120 seconds.

    Can I sublimate on glass in the oven?

    Set oven temperature to 400° F. Prepare glass as noted above in steps 2 & 3. Attach wrap and place upside down on middle rack in convection oven. Heat for 12 – 15 minutes then carefully remove glass from the oven.
