South lake tahoe lakeshore lodge and spa

Elements Day Spa has 3 treatment rooms, including rooms for couples. Services include deep-tissue massages, hot stone massages, sports massages and Swedish massages. A variety of treatment therapies are provided, including aromatherapy and reflexology. The spa is open daily.

Pros:The front desk texted me the day of my arrival to inform me that my room may not be ready in time, and even helped me with road conditions. Upon arrival, we still got a room on time, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfy and even had a fireplace in it! Pool and hot tub aside, they offered free coffee, tea and hot cocoa in the lobby. Definitely noticed a lot of couples, but also families with small children. It was away from the main downtown area (a 3 minute drive away) which meant it was nice and quiet but still easily accessible. Nothing beats waking up to that magnificent lake view though!

Property was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fireplace in the room. The private beach the hotel offers was great also the fire pit to enjoy the evening. Great place will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Over all very nice. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. Can not beat the lake views and the spa was amazing.

Great property on the lake ! We enjoy staying in the condos on this hotel property every year. Beautiful beach and lake with wildlife right outside your door. I love stocking my fridge and cooking in my condo all week. Great variety of shopping nearby and many restaurants in the town we like. Never had a problem with staff. We’ll always return .

The location of Lakeshore Lodge is ideal. We never used the car because restaurants & shopping are within walking distance. There's a million dollar view from the room & firepit. The concrete patio needed repair but the room was spotless. The staff was friendly & helpful. We'll definitely stay here again.
