This shampoo appears to be diluted compared to the first bottle I bought back in 2017, it's lighter in color and not as thick.Even worse, they apparently sold me an old product as I noticed separation and clumping only a few months after purchasing.Also, there is NO EXPIRATION DATE!This shampoo seems to cause significantly more hair loss than any other shampoo that I used. I noticed way more hair strands in the bath tub and in my hand when I rub my hair while showering and after getting out the shower. I've always had oily hair and never been a person who could go days without washing. I use this daily BUT I use the SMALLEST amount only and wash lightly just my roots. Once a week I will wash all the way to the ends and get a good lather. I have been able to stop using conditioner of any kind, then follow up with either Shea Moisture curl milk or milk gel and my curls stay soft, shiny and hydrated. The viscosity of this bottle of shampoo is truer to the original formulas before the shampoos evolved into thinned liquid with black flakes and chunks that sat on the bottom of the bottle. I love this Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Strengthen and Restore Shampoo (and Conditioner). My daughter did the hard work researching everything on market and finding something truly organic. The product description and reviews said this kit promotes hair growth, moisturises and reinvigorate the hair. And that’s very true. I am mixed black/white and USED to have very
difficult hair - unmanageable coily/curly very dry /thin black hair. I have had to use hair conditioner after every wash to be able to comb with a very wide-tooth spaced brush.
