4. Four Seasons Hotel Singapore

Previously, the idea of bringing your pet to the grand Four Seasons seemed like a farfetched dream. Fast forward to now, and Four Seasons Hotel is ready to shower your pet with goodies, such as a personalised towel with your precious pet name embroidered on it, a pet bowl, pet bed, and bottled water. The downside is, there’s a cleaning fee of $100 applied to the room or $130 for suites… but we say Fido is totally worth it!

If crossing to Sentosa is not your thing, how about staying central at Regent Singapore with your furkid? Your four-legged friend will be fully taken care of with the pet ‘minibar’ basket, which includes a microfibre towel, hand-made natural bar soap ($28), hand-knit wool headrests ($22), coat tamers ($38) and other accessories. Once you’re done with the dog run at Bishan, head over to the dog-friendly vibes at Canopy Garden Dining Bar. Its brunch menu serves classic breakfast dishes such as Eggs Benedict and fluffy buttermilk pancakes, and delish bigger dishes including lobster pomodoro. This colonial-style cafe and bar is set at a two-story bungalow with an old English country vibe. Boasting a farm to table concept, guests and their four-legged friends can enjoy dishes with freshly picked garnishes in the adjacent garden. Mylo’s is a new cafe that’s opened up at Gardens by the Bay, AKA our fave kid-friendly hangout. Located at the Active Garden, you and your entire party can wind down here with some tasty gelato or other yummy treats like pastries and sammies. Pups get their own treats, which include homemade biscuits and popsicles. You and doggo can enjoy a lovely view of the Waterfront Promenade by Marina Reservoir.

This IG-worthy cafe at Telok Kurau is the definition of dog-friendly cafe – it welcomes all furry friends (yes, even indoors), so long as they’re well-behaved and friendly. There are plenty of spaces for your brood to sit, have a good meal, and take photos. And by taking photos, we mean loads of them! Who’s been a good dog? If it’s your dog, and you’re thinking of treating your furkid, how about taking them on a dog cruise? The Royal Albatross now allows furry friends to join their humans on the Sunset Dinner Cruise on Wednesdays at 6.30pm. Doggos can feast on a gourmet menu that comes with an entree, a main course (the Nasi Lemak sounds yum, honestly!), and dessert. Plus, your pet gets to sit on the dining table, just like any other member of the family. There’s even a surprise dog goodie bag waiting for them! All dogs are welcome on the cruise, though dog ticket needs to be purchased separately (price depends on the size of the dog).

A fur-tastic place to bring your kids AND your dog for a fun-packed day by the sea. Dogs are allowed on the sand with their human friends before taking a dip in the sea to cool off. 23. Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

Located at Bishan Park 2, this doggy patch of heaven comprises two enclosures: one for small breeds and the other for the bigger dogs on the block. Certain breeds will need a muzzle (check the AVS rules to see if your pet needs one), and dogs can run free off-leash with their other furry friends. 25. Rail Corridor

This gorgeously green 24km stretch between the old Tanjong Pagar railway station and the Woodlands Train checkpoint is where Singapore used to be connected by train to Malaysia. The line is now unused but far from unloved, and provides an ideal rambling spot for the whole family, four-legged pals included. You can also nip to fam-fave ‘hood, Bukit Timah, whilst you’re here!

26. Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens is a popular place for scenic dog walks, surrounded by lush greenery. Canine friends are not allowed off-leash but can explore the extensive gardens with the fam before a well-earned big bowl of water at pup-friendly Bee’s Knees at the Garage (humans can have coffee if they prefer).

For the Westies of the island – as well as all other dog breeds (sorry, we couldn’t resist the bad pun!) – West Coast Park provides hours of fun. The dog run is open all day, every day too, hooray! If you have a larger breed then do be prepared to muzzle your dog regardless of how gentle a giant it is.
