Brilliant Choice
When planning a trip to Key West, guess reports that the Westin is the ideal choice. The property is right on the beach, close to shopping, fine dining and all major attractions. Most of the places we wanted to visit were within close walking distance. The marina has boats for rent and the kids loved our adventure on the ocean. We had a fabulous time and we will return and recommend to family and friends.

Guests remark that the rooms are even nicer than they anticipated, providing all the amenities they could wish in a luxury lodging. The beds are firm, the pillows are fluffy and the room is well soundproofed for a fine night's sleep. .

Helpful Front Desk Staff
Guests comment that the staff at the hotel is especially cordial, welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure that guests are comfortable and enjoying their stay. There is a free shuttle to the airport and the hotel was happy to store our luggage until departure time. .

Some guests commented that the complex was quite busy and that there room was on the pathway to the pier which made it difficult to sunbathe on the patio with privacy.
Been going to Key West almost every year since 2009 and this was the first time we stayed at the Opal Key Resort. We stayed 4 nights. Checked in Saturday, November 19, 2022 and checked out Wednesday, November 23, 2022. They gave us room 293, which had a rounded corner patio overlooking the dock where the cruise ships docked. We were so impressed, we're already planning to go again November 2023 assuming we're able to get the same room, or equivalent. Could not have been better.Nearby attractions include Mallory Square (0.2 km), Key West Room Escape (0.5 km), and 7 Artists & Friends Key West (0.4 km).
