The Bureau of Engraving Tour is currently closed. Check the website for an update. Once they resume, you can contact your member of Congress to reserve a free Bureau of Engraving tour.

Dupont Underground

"Dupont Underground is an arts organization transforming 15,000 sqft of open abandoned space under Dupont Circle into a platform for creative exchange and contemporary arts in our vibrant city." I contacted them and they said they are working on accessibility but right now no elevator or ramp to the exhibits, only stairs.

The Phillips Collection

The Phillips Collection with Kids is great because they are free! Tickets are strongly recommended for Adults. Dupont Circle mansion with post-Impressionist and modern art.

Treasure Hunt Tour

Chestnut Tree Tour
Advanced on-line reservations required for admission
Tour outside by the pool to view one of the few rare adult chestnut trees in the area. Nearly extinct in the 1950’s, our 60ft. American Chestnut Tree has stood the test of time, withstanding an outbreak of blight that eradicated the majority of the chestnut tree population. After viewing this majestic gift you are invited to tour through at least 60 of our 100 rooms and search for secret doors.

Hours: All tours are daily, from 11am – 4pm, unless specified otherwise.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Admission: All tours are available by on-line reservation only, based on availability. Prices vary.

Parking: On-street parking near O Street Museum Foundation is limited. The closest public parking facility is 3 blocks away. Valet parking is available for a fee.

Metrorail: Dupont Circle Metro Red Line — South Exit.
