Recently, I had the opportunity to taste the new Mike’s Hard Freeze beverages and the experience was both intriguing and lighthearted. While I could think back to those iconic Mike’s Hard Lemonade beverages at the end of my college career, there was a little twist that made it exciting. This was not the sip of my memory but it was a flavor that made me smile.

Without giving away some of the intrigue from the names, the flavors have that sweetness people expect from a slushie. In some ways, there is a reference to that last sip when the ice has melted and the sweetness lingers.

Whether people like blue raspberry, red cherry or even an orangesicle flavor, these alcoholic beverages are about the fun. It isn’t meant to be serious and that is a good thing. Sometimes you just need to grab from the cooler and chill.
