Manitowoc water pump replacement
I have a water cooled Manitowoc Model SY0605W.
The water pump is burned and smoking.
I have the new water pump Model 82-5210-9 already. However, i can not find any mount or screw around the water pump. The space is very tighten, i can only fit one hand in there.
How do i remove the old one?jcrew4242
Take the water trough out.
Pull the water pump straight down and out. Disconnect its molex plug and remove.
i try to push down and pull the whole pump.
i also try push down and turn left or right.jcrew4242
If its been in there for a while it might be stuck.
After they've been in place for a few years they can be difficult to remove.
You might have to just keep gently rocking it back and forth while pulling down.
Thank Mike, i am going to pull it a bit harder now.
