Availed home loan from LICHFL for under construction flat. I had to literally beg each time to disburse loan amount. Very rude staff, they don't answer your call, emails, and complaints. Now so happy that I transferred loan and having peace of mind.

Never choose LIC housing finance even if it's the last choice left, they never respond to any of your query and you will left alone with heavy interests. You will end up loosing time and money with them.

All employee working here pathetic starting form branch manager-Trishna nair, manager unresponsive not attend any call will not respond to any queries, will not respond to any mail, worst employees worst experience do not borrow any loan from baner branch will delay disbursement for many months will also ask for money to disburse loan.will charge you extra processing fees than required LIC 3rd party BDS team agent are worst they will give bad words no manners of handling customer

Hopeless customer service from LIC HFL. Please opt for other housing loan operators. They increase interest rates without intimation and charge fees for decreasing rates back to market rates!

-Loan transfer of 24 lacs Principal to other Bank with less ROI, Increase in EMI from 25000 to 43000, and decrease in loan tenure from 19 years to 7 years, helped my friend save almost 25 lacs in interest. He would have lost this amount had he continued the whole term with LICHFL, because LICHFL wasn't ready to change the tenure.

-LICHFL does not follow RBI defined interest rate, because it is a Non bank finance corporation (NBFC).

-LICHFL lays a trap to lure new home buyers by advertising very low interest rates because after two years they will raise the interest.eg 8.5 % can become 12% or more.

-For new customers who become old customers after two years, they start following PLR interest rate whereas other banks follow MLCR interest rate.

-LIC Housing Finance decides and fixes its own PLR interest rate from time to time. RBI does not decide the PLR Rate of any NBFC or HFC

-LICHFL gives good discount in interest in initial 2 years so that it can milk the customer for remaining loan term period.

-LICHFL will not inform the change in interest rate and by the time the borrower gets aware he loses lakhs of extra money as interest. To reduce ROI, they will demand money for re writing the loan, whereas they will increase rate of interest anytime, without demanding any money for re writing the loan.

-LICHFL will charge money and change interest rate of few customers but the new ROI will never be near the ROI offered currently by the banks.
Also this new interest rate will be increased if there is a increase in the market interest rate.

-Take loan transfer to new NBFC /bank to save yourself from the debt trap laid by LICHFL. Also try to reduce the total tenure of remaining loan, to save the total interest paid.

-Less tenure will increase EMI but saving in interest is enormous. The LICHFL agent will not be interested to reduce your tenure and there will a lot of hassles in getting it done. You can go for additional one time payments also but again LICHFL has some terms and conditions.

-Loan transfer of 24 lacs to other Bank with least ROI, Increase in EMI from 25000 to 43000, and decrease in loan tenure from 19 years to 7 years, helped my friend save almost 25 lacs in interest.

This is the typical government office which does not give.about the customer. Never picks up the phone, there is no email id where i contact them. In this pandemic time they enforce you to visit the branche and risk your life. I have applied for LOD and foreclosure letter 3 weeks before and I am still waiting for those documents. Mind you they have taken Rs. 590 for this document. I am not sure why it is so difficult to provide list of document to me even after taking my money. They earn monthly 40k interest from my home loan still they provide me with this pathetic service. I feel sorry for myself that i opted LIC HFL. I know this does not change anything but a matter of caution to future customer do not opt for LIC HFL. Also they increase the interest and are never keen to decrease it.

I AM TRYING ALL THE 3 NUMBER, FROM 2 TO 3 WEEKS, ONLY RINGING AND RINGING AND RINGING.
NO ONE IS PICKING THE PHONE NOR ANY REPLY FORM EMAIL ALSO.
STAYING IN CHANDAN NAGAR, HOW CAN GO TO BANER OFFICE NEAR ABOUT 30 PLUS KM FROM HOME.

Worst service you would ever imagine.
They are very rude and not even know how to speak with there customers.
I would personally recommend not to take loan from Lichfl. If you do remember you will be stuck.

They are a big cheater, they do increase tenure and interest rate without customers knowledge, we have taken 53 lakhs for 25 year with an emi 43k and after 9 month we paid 8.5 lake and after 18 month we have an outstanding 44.07 lakhs, can you imagine this kind of cheating,
How is this possible, and they have no contact no customer care nothing where you can make complaint.
Borrower be aware and keep away from such company.

Very poor service by Baner office; they even delayed for further disbursement of the loan; takes near about 20 days; ultimately we suffer from builders (penalty) as clause in RERA.
No any staff receives a call, i am having over 06 numbers of their office
Please do not prefer Home Loan from this office.i am really frustrated.

1st week and 3rd week of Saturday is off. Things are improving now, 2nd and 4th Saturday is full day working.
Some people from front desk are polite and helpful.

This is the worst office I have ever seen. Government offices do better job than this office people. I asked them for extra payment cheque details & I haven't received any feedback. I went to the office for enquiry but the man name Pushpendra asked me to send email. Now I sent email few days back still no reply from them.

Worst service. It is not less than a thief who steal your hard-earned money by raising the interest rates without any communication and you end paying much higher portion of interest than what they commit at the time of disbursing loan. Please opt for SBI/HDFC who are much more professional in their services.

They are not updated like other banking services. If the EMI got bounce they should share link from where you pay it online like the other bank does (HDFC). All the time you have to visit their location to resubmit the cheque. I am also doubtful if they have reduced EMI option, they only reduced the tenure.
