It really works over time and a little goes a long way. I bought this 6 months ago and am still on my first tube. As far as brightening, I sometimes use Origins Ginzeng on top of it during the day since it gives a little extra oomph if I didn't sleep well or am going out, but I've actually seen a difference in lines and adding a little more plumpness into that area.
