What is Google Drive?

Google Drive is a cloud storage solution in Google Workspace and popular productivity tools like Google Sheets. It allows you to upload documents, photos, audio, and videos online. Third parties can view your uploaded content when you share the link to uploaded files and give them permission. They can open files as a viewer, editor, or commenter, similar to how Google Docs works.

Google Drive is free to use and offers 15GB of storage when you sign up for a Google account. If that's not enough, you can get up to 2 Terabytes of space when you get a Google One subscription plan. Though the tool requires an internet connection, you can also make files available offline.
