How to pair new iPhone 6S with Jeep Uconnect Bluetooth

Yesterday marked another year of fresh technology from the minds at Apple. The team revealed its new-generation iPhones, which will undoubtedly have a waiting list as long as a dictionary until it officially launches. In honor of this reveal, we're sharing tips on how to pair the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus with Jeep Uconnect Bluetooth. While specific instructions for this phone have not yet been released, we imagine the process will be near-identical to the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus setup.

Uconnect Bluetooth setup instructions:

On the Uconnect system, press MENU
Choose SYSTEM SETUP
Select DEVICE PAIRING
Choose PAIRED DEVICE
Create 4 DIGIT PIN for Uconnect system

iPhone 6S and 6S Plus pairing instructions:

Select BLUETOOTH
Switch Bluetooth toggle to ON
Select UCONNECT in devices list
Enter the PIN created for the Uconnect system
Select PAIR

Uconnect will allow drivers to access their favorite music, podcasts, and apps while on the road. Jeep Bluetooth pairing instructions for iPhone:

Before attempting the Bluetooth pairing process, ensure your vehicle is in park.

On the iPhone:

Go to SETTINGS
Select BLUETOOTH
Ensure Bluetooth toggle is switched ON

On the Uconnect system:

Press PHONE on Uconnect touchscreen
Uconnect system will prompt driver to pair a phone
Select YES
System will search for Bluetooth connections

On the iPhone:

Select UCONNECT from devices list
Accept connection request
When prompted, verify PIN on iPhone matches PIN on Uconnect screen (select YES on Uconnect touchscreen)
Select PAIR

After these steps are completed, the iPhone should be paired to Jeep Uconnect Bluetooth. Now drivers can make phone calls, respond to text messages and play music without compromising focus behind the wheel.
