How to forward a text from an Android device
For the purposes of this guide, we'll use the Verizon Message+ app.
1. Open the texting app you usually use and tap on the conversation that includes the text message(s) you're trying to forward.

3. Select all of the text messages you want to forward by tapping on them one by one. When you're ready to forward the message, tap the arrow icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

We're going to show you how to forward an SMS text message on the stock Android Messages app and the Samsung equivalent.
How to Forward a Text on Android (Stock)
- In the stock Android Messages app, open the text conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
- Press and hold on the message.
- Tap the three vertical dots in the top-right.
- From the list, choose who you want to forward the message to. Alternatively, to send it to someone who isn't on that list, tap New Message.
- The forwarded message will appear in the message field. You can add or amend this message if needed. When ready, tap the Send button (right arrow) to forward the message.
How to Forward a Text on Samsung Phones
- Open the text conversation that contains the message you want to forward.
- Press and hold on the message.
- Tap Forward.
- Find the recipient, either through the Conversations or Contacts tab. Tap their name. You can select multiple recipients if desired.
- Tap Done.
- The forwarded message will appear in the message field. You can add or amend this message if needed. When ready, tap the Send button (right arrow) to forward the message.
Why Can't I Forward a Text on Android?
If you can't see a forward option, it's probably because you've got the entire conversation selected or multiple texts.
