To delete apps from iCloud on an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch:

  1. On the device's home screen, tap Settings.

  2. Go to the top of the Settings interface, then tap your name.

  3. Tap iCloud.

  4. Tap Manage Storage.

  5. Tap Backups.

  6. A list of devices tied to your iCloud account appears. Tap the device containing the apps you wish to delete.

    If you want to delete iCloud apps from more than one device, repeat these steps accordingly.

  7. Tap Show All Apps.

  8. Turn off the toggle next to the app that you wish to delete from iCloud.

  9. A message appears near the bottom of the screen. The message asks if you want to turn off backups for the app and delete its related data from iCloud. Tap Turn Off & Delete to complete the process.

How to Delete Apps From iCloud on Mac

If you want to delete apps from iCloud on macOS, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Apple icon in the upper-left corner of the screen.

  2. Select System Preferences.

  3. In the macOS System Preferences dialog, select Apple ID.

  4. Enter your Apple ID and password if prompted. If two-factor authentification is set up, you are prompted to enter the verification code that was sent to one of your other devices.

  5. Select Manage in the lower-right corner of the iCloud interface.

  6. Go to the left column, then select the app you want to delete.

  7. Select Delete all Files to remove all files associated with the app from your iCloud.

    If you see a warning message, select Delete to complete the process.

It's also possible to delete apps from iCloud on a Windows PC:

  1. Open the iCloud desktop app, then enter your Apple ID and password if prompted. You may be prompted to enter a verification code that was sent to one of your other devices.

  3. Select the app you want to delete. Then select Delete Documents and Data to remove all files from your iCloud Backup associated with the app.

    A warning message may appear at this point. If so, select Delete to complete the process.
