Positives: Well appointed rooms, very clean in all areas, friendly staff.

Negatives: power equipment in fitness center all out of service; bar limited to beer and wine; $18 for a “full” breakfast that that offered little more than the included breakfast at a Comfort Inn.

Positives: Staff was friendly. Bedding was clean. Location is convenient.

Negatives: Building is old, so shower didn’t work, toilet didn’t work properly. The shower would not drain, so we had to stand in dirty water for most of the shower. The toilet made a loud filling up the tank noise, so we had to turn the water knob off, so we could sleep. To flush the toilet, we had to turn it back on. We told the front desk that the shower would not drain and if they only had a screwdriver, we could at least unscrew the drain filter/stopper to allow for more drainage. They didn’t have a screwdriver, sent the security guy up to see what’s going on, who also didn’t know what to do, because he wasn’t maintenance, so my husband made a tool out of a paper clip and took off the drain stopper. However that did not help much with the drainage because the shower tap would not fully relay the water towards the shower head as it was really old and water kept flowing from the tap, filling up the tub faster than it drained. While all of this was being “solved” my kids and I had to sit and wait to take a shower way into the late hours, so this did not help our situation. The staff was kind to offer free breakfast, but the garden inn breakfast is not good at all, so we were not compensated for the trouble that night in any way.
