Cold Process Soap Performance:

Lye Water Temperature - 117° F

Oils Temperature - 118° F

Mixing Observations:

  • Some acceleration
  • Slight separation

Final Results:

  • This fragrance did have some acceleration reaching thick trace quickly. The batter was just barely able to be transferred to a silicone mold.
  • After curing for 4 weeks, the soap bars had a strong scent and a dark ivory color.
  • While this fragrance can be used in cold process soap making, it performs better in melt and pour soap bases.

Can you use hemp oil to make candles?

There is now a massive range of hemp candles available on the market to suit almost any taste. Manufacturers make the candles by using blends of distilled CBD oil and terpenes (naturally aromatic molecules).

Does hemp oil have a fragrance?

Unrefined hemp seed oil is a dark greenish color with a mildly nutty aroma. Refined hemp seed oil is clear with little to no smell, but it doesn't contain as many of the skin-health benefits. Hemp seed oil has become a very popular skincare ingredient.

What is the fragrance of hemp oil?

Distinctive and authentic, this scent has a pleasing, earthy aroma that appeals to both niche audiences and wider markets. Hemp opens with bright top notes of lemon and lime. A heart of green leaves and true-to-life hemp makes up the bulk of this scent, while notes of vetiver and patchouli in the base wrap things up.

What scent goes with hemp oil?

Orange, Valerian, and Pine come together in this CBD and essential oil mix for an uplifting scent best enjoyed in the bath. To use, start by drawing yourself a warm bath. Add one dropper full of this blend to your bathwater and soak in the relaxation.
