We were put on an end room by the elevator. We got back to our room after a long day. We kept hearing an almost constant loud thud. We tried to ignore it by turning on the tv and trying to
sleep. This sound would not stop. I called the front desk around 10pm and said how disturbing this noise was and asked if there was another room. I was told rudely that they were full. Shortly after security called and said the noise was from the vents in the wall from being on an end room. He kindly asked if we wanted to switch rooms, which I replied yes. I told him the prior lady told us the hotel was full but he said there were rooms available and brought us a key to a much quieter room.
Thanks to this man from security for saving our nights sleep! Overall, the hotel is a little outdated, however it’s clean. I wish I didn’t have to move my family after 10pm but I’m glad someone was nice to find us a new room. The breakfast was nice with many options. Instead received a room with filyhy sheets, no face tissue, no toiletries, no proper drain in the bathroom. It was dusty had long hairs in bathroom sink and in window seal. There was a peanut beside the base of the tv luckily I had wipes and disinfectant. I
called the front desk to inquire about vending machines was told they are no longer because of Covid and if I wanted a bottle of water I could get 1 complimentary bottle from the front desk and then I would have to pay far anymore only to find out that the next morning that there is a vending machine on each floor. It sounded like somebody was pounding on the wall with their fist. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and it is nice, but nobody should have to crank the TV up at night to drown out the banging noise
