Google tried to make this a straightforward procedure. But because you’re moving so much information and security issues, it can feel complex. Some providers offer their tools for transferring data, while others employ an export-and-import method.

Move the Google+ profile, Circles, and other information to a new account

It’s easy to move your Google+ profile and data from one account to another, but the method is precise. The following steps are necessary to complete the process: 

• Choose the source account you want to move your profile to and the destination account. 

• Make sure the destination account has a Google+ profile. If you haven’t signed up for Google+, Google won’t be able to move your profile over to your other account. Even if it’s just your name, it must exist. 

Now that those details are taken care of, you may begin the transfer by doing the following:

1. Visit google.com/takeout while logged in to your source account.

1. A list of all the exportable data will appear when you click that. You should notice a Circles option in the list and a link labelled “Transfer your Google+ connections to another account.” Simply click on that. (If you can’t find it, the image to the right will help.)

1. If you forgot to sign in to your source account, or if Google just wants to make sure you are who you say you are, this will happen. 

If you don’t have a destination account already set up, you’ll be prompted to create one if you don’t already have one when you sign into the source account. Do the same thing. 

You’ve completed your required actions to transfer data from one google account to another. Furthermore, one must now wait 7 days. Despite Google’s silence, we can assume that the delay is for security purposes.

Both accounts will indicate a pending transfer for 7 days, and either can cancel it. This is presumably so a user can stop an unexpected file transfer. 

Move your number and data from Google Voice

Google Voice was around for a long time, but there was no way to move your data and phone number to another Google account. 

There is now a method accessible. It is straightforward and takes about 5 minutes. The following steps are necessary before you can begin: 

• Choose the source account and the destination account.

• The source account has a Google Voice number, but the destination may not. However, the destination account’s number and data will be replaced if both accounts have Google Voice numbers connected with them. To archive data in the target account, visit google.com/takeout.
• If the destination account has a Google Voice number, check sure the PIN is different from the source accounts. If that’s the case, the exchange won’t take place.

Once that’s done, you can begin the transfer as follows:

1. Check out the Google Voice Transfer Assistant. A sequence of questions will be posed to you (basically telling you the previously mentioned risks and tasks required to make the transfer). You’ll get a URL after answering all the questions.

1. You will be prompted to sign in if you do not have a Google account. If you’re signed into one of the accounts (the source or destination), you’ll be asked to sign into another because the transfer requires two simultaneous sign-ins.

1. You’ll be questioned about which account is the origin and which is the target once you’ve logged into both services. Make sure to double-check everything before you confirm.

The process to transfer data from one google account to another will start. Simply wait until it is completed.

Everything will be sent to the designated account as soon as you’re done. This means your Google Voice number will no longer connect to your original account. 

To keep Google Voice running on all of your computers and devices, you must update your account information on all of them. 

Move other google services

You can use a programme similar to Google Voice to migrate additional data between Google accounts. (This programme can also migrate your Google Voice account, although those procedures require more planning.) 

Here is what you must do:

1. Visit google.com/dashboard while logged into the account you want to copy data from (the “source” account).
2. “You can move data out of this account” should be in yellow at the top. To start, click on the link. Moving data may not be available for your two accounts if you don’t see this link. 

(You should put in your own email addresses for the source and the destination.)

1. If you’re signed into a Google account, the search engine will transport you to a page that displays your source account. You’ll also have to sign in to your destination account so the data has a place to go.

1. The source account’s current services will be listed once you’ve signed into both accounts. Verify the boxes next to the titles of the items you want to move to the destination account.

1. After making your choices, you’ll reach a grey box where you need to check off a couple of additional boxes. All this does is reassure Google that you are competent and aware of what will occur throughout the transfer.

1. Tap “I agree. 

When the transfer is complete, the source account will no longer contain the transferred data, and only the destination account will contain the data.  

Now you know how to transfer data from one google account to another. Even though it takes a while, this is the only way we can do it. 

It is possible that it will store certain data, such as our YouTube subscriptions, keep notes, and so on. However, you will obtain a significant amount of the data that is most helpful to you, including your contacts and files.
