Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa5 out of 5 Posted 8 hours ago travelocity Verified Review "I've stayed at Playa Grande a few times now, and am always pleased. It's a very nice and convenient resort. It has a few dining options, a few pools (since you're not allowed to swim in the ocean) right on the beach, and a few scattered throughout the property. The beach is also VERY nice to walk on, without people hassling you to buy things... On my last stay, there was only a problem with the electricity being limited, so they turned all of the air conditioners off, so it was over 80 degrees in the room at night, and you cannot open the door or window because you will let every mosquito in Cabo into your room. I highly recommend getting the all inclusive. It's $102 per night, but you can spend that in 2 meals and 1 drink. The only thing I really dislike is the restaurant in the lobby is very very slow. They'll see you standing there waiting to be seated and they just keep going. Then when you order, it's like they have to go to the next town to get it. It has been like that every single time I'm there. But, the food is very good. Also... this has happened twice now. Unplug your clock and the phone when you get into the room. It never fails someone sets the alarm for 2:00 AM. But what really got me, was twice, the front desk called me at 11:30PM asking if I was going to join in for "Lobster night". So now, I unplug the phone. Other than that, this place is great. Very convenient 5 minute walk to the marina if you want to go there for a clubs, or bars, or restaurants.
