AAA or IEC R03 1.5V alkaline batteries. Remove the batteries if the remote is not used for a month or longer. Do not attempt to recharge the batteries. Both batteries should be replaced at the same time. Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire as the man explodes. Point the remote control at the receiver on the appliance. However, you usually won't need to drain your portable air conditioner this often. If you live in a dry area, then you will rarely need to drain your portable air conditioner.
Where is the drain plug on my portable air conditioner?Most units are designed with a drainage hose found on the back of the product near the bottom or in the middle. The cap of the drain hose needs to be removed and the unit should be drained into a external pan (not provided).
