What You’ll Need:

  • 1 lemon sliced in half

  • 1 squeegee

Steps:

3. Spraying White Distilled Vinegar & Dish Soap Mixture

Here’s another cleaning solution you can make with vinegar! This is a more long-term solution and can be stored in a spray bottle. Simply use it whenever your glass surfaces need cleaning.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 part dish soap (used in video above: 12oz/354 ml)
  • 1 part white distilled/artificial vinegar (used in video above: 12oz/354 ml)
  • 1 spray bottle
  • 2 glass cloths
  • 1 squeegee

Steps:

  1. Microwave the vinegar to be used for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Pour 1 part dish soap and 1 part white vinegar into the spray bottle, and shake the bottle.
  3. Spray the solution on your glass shower door and leave for 5 minutes.
  4. Using a damp cloth, wipe the shower door to create a soapy lather and spread evenly. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Rinse off lather with water.
  6. Remove excess water with a squeegee and wipe down with a dry cloth.

Tip: When carrying out steps 3 to 6, wear a mask to cover your nose and mouth as the vinegar smell may be overpowering.

There definitely will be a vinegar smell after washing down, but rest assured, it will go away after a while!
