Best jeep gladiator cell phone mount

Justin: If you're looking for a simple and affordable way to help keep the interior of your 2020 and newer Gladiator a bit more organized, well then you might wanna consider the Alterum Upper Dash Storage Panel that we have here today. Now, along with that added storage, the Alterum will also hold your cell phone, thanks to the convenient mount, and will pack a durable ABS plastic build, all for right around that $50 to $60 price point. So again, this is a simple product that is designed to add a little bit more organization to the upper dash area of your JT. Now, that factory indentation is certainly helpful to a point, but the reality is, it's not terribly deep and any quick turns or rough terrain can send your glasses, your phone, your smokes, or whatever flying across the dash and onto the floor. Now, the Alterum panel here, on the other hand, offers a couple of different compartments as you guys can see right here, with some higher walls which will just help keep things in place a little bit better especially on rougher terrain. And, best part is, I would say it looks as if though it could be a factory part. Now, the highlight for me though I think comes in the form of this convenient cell phone holder that is integrated into the panel itself, which will safely and securely hold your phone in an ideal viewing position at all times while driving. Now, the panel itself will feature a pretty simple build consisting of that impact-resistant injection molded ABS plastic that's been finished in a matte black and just kind of giving a factory-like texture. So it should flow nicely in the interior of your JT.Now, installation is really simple here, guys. In fact, site is gonna call this one a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, really using nothing more than a basic Phillips head screwdriver to remove the factory Phillips head screws, and then install the Alterum in place in no more than a few minutes of your time. But to give you a better idea of how exactly things will go down at home, here's an XT customer to walk you through it now.Man: Here are the tools that are used. First, we have a Phillips head screwdriver, and then this Allen wrench is provided inside the kit. First step is to remove the factory rubber tray. You could do this and pull it up, set to the side. Next step is to remove the screws that are located here at an angle using your screwdriver. Save the screws for later.Next step, is to take the perceived hardware, slide in like that. And there'll be a bolt and a nut that will come with it. The equipment...hold the part against the phone panel in the top. Then from the underside, put in the nut and screw that together so the nut conveniently holds in there. And the kit comes with an Allen wrench to tighten that. It does not require a socket or anything since the nut holder is built into the plastic. We just turn until it's tight enough for your application. If you gotta overturn it, it'll probably crack the plastic. There, it's nice and snug.So once we have that in place, you can put the plastic cover over here, it'll hide the screw. You just have to make sure to line it up, just press right there. And then attach the bolt, you just thread this first piece on...like so. Push just a little bit harder just to snap it in place. And then, put the outer piece on it. There we go.And then afterwards, we just reattach the screws onto the [inaudible 00:04:50]. And this bends a little bit wider or a little deeper [inaudible 00:04:58]. So that screw will just go in a little deeper inside there, I'm just gonna attach both of those in. And those factory holes, remember they're just at a bit of an angle. Tighten that up. There we go. It's nice and secure, and you can just put your phone right inside in here. It's nice and easy to open.Justin: So if you're looking to improve the dash storage in your JT at home along with adding a convenient phone mount at the same time, then you'll wanna check out the Alterum Upper Dash Storage Panel right here at extremeterrain.com.
