What are the most beautiful hikes in Nashville?
The best scenic drives in Nashville aren’t the only way to take in scenic sights. There are also lots of beautiful hikes around Nashville. One spot outdoorsman won’t want to miss is Radnor Lake. Offering a quick escape from the city, it’s located about a half hour outside of Nashville. The lake and surrounding area couldn’t be easier to explore, thanks to several hiking trails – nine to be exact. The trails vary in length and difficulty, which means there’s something for hikers of all skill levels.
Where can I hike to a cave near Nashville?
There’s so much natural beauty in Nashville and that includes caves. A great place to explore the caverns of Tennessee is Dunbar Cave State Park. Located in Clarksville, it’s less than an hour from the city, making it the perfect destination for an outdoor adventure. The highlight of the park is its namesake cave, which is touted as a “remarkable prehistoric site,” as it’s adorned with Mississippian Native American cave art that dates back to the 14th century. There are several trails within the park, making it easy to explore the historic cave as well as the park’s other sites.
