Jeep is also creating the Wagoneer sub-brand, similar to Range Rover, a sub-brand of Land Rover. That means that in addition to the upgrades to its vehicle lineup, it will need to upgrade its dealership experience, as well.

What Will the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Cost?

The Wagoneer will come in three trim levels: Series I, Series II and Series III. Only Series II and III will be available at launch, and we don’t yet know much about the Series I beyond its price (more information will come closer to its availability, according to Jeep). The Wagoneer comes standard with a 5.7-liter mild-hybrid V-8 and rear-wheel drive, with four-wheel drive a $3,000 option on all but the Series I. A 10.1-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument panel are also standard (all prices include a $2,000 destination fee).

  • 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series I RWD: $59,995
  • 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series II RWD: $69,995
  • 2022 Jeep Wagoneer Series III RWD: $74,995

Series II Wagoneers come in either a Standard or Premium configuration, with the latter including 22-inch wheels, an extra screen for the front passenger and additional option packages, like one for towing. Interestingly, Jeep’s available Amazon Fire TV for Auto is only available on 4WD models.

Series III lacks a Standard configuration but can come in an off-road-focused layout with an upgraded 4WD system, a two-speed transfer case, all-terrain tires and extra skid plates. Buyers can also opt for a Premium configuration as in the Series II, which gets 22-inch wheels and, in 4WD models, Amazon Fire TV. Both Series III versions also have a McIntosh premium stereo.

What Will the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Cost?

Like the Wagoneer, the Grand Wagoneer has Series I, II and III trims, but between II and III is the fashionably blacked-out Obsidian model. All Grand Wagoneers come with standard 4WD. Other standard features include a 12-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

  • 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series I: $88,995
  • 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series II: $95,995
  • 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Obsidian: $100,995
  • 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series III: $105,995

Grand Wagoneer Series I includes the basics, which means a luxurious-looking interior with Nappa leather upholstery, 20-inch wheels, the McIntosh stereo and quad-zone climate control. It also comes standard with a two-tone black roof, and early-availability preconfigured models will come standard with the front passenger display.

Series II increases the wheel size to 22 inches and adds even nicer Palermo leather upholstery. The Convenience Group, which adds a night-vision camera system, backseat monitor and the semi-autonomous hands-on Level 2 active drive assist system (which would almost certainly mean lane-centering and adaptive cruise control).

The blacked-out Obsidian model comes with even more McIntosh speakers (23 versus 19) and also includes Amazon Fire TV for Auto. Finally, the range-topping Series III includes all of that in a non-monotone color scheme and adds quilted Palermo leather.

So We’re Selling a Luxury Vehicle Now?

Jeep recognizes that the Grand Wagoneer in particular is a true luxury vehicle, and if it wants to compete with other brands, it’ll need to step up the customer experience. To that end, it instituted 10 so-called “customer promises.” They include specially trained salespeople and a differentiated showroom, plus remote pickups and deliveries for sales and service. Only dealerships with high customer satisfaction scores will get the first Wagoneer allocations, and Jeep includes five years’ complimentary service.
