Overview
This double cardan style CV driveshaft is necessary for Jeep JK models equipped with 3.5in - 6in short arm suspension lifts or 2.5in - 6in long arm suspension lifts. It features a replacement flange for the differential pinions as opposed to using an adapter flange. These flanges are machined from solid billet steel. They are designed to accept standard "off the shelf" mating flanges. If these flanges ever break, you at least stand a chance of getting a replacement part from almost any drive line shop. This also nets a longer drive shaft with the center of the universal joint closer to the pinion bearing.
Features
- Collapsed Measurment: 35.5-inches
- Extended Measurment: 38-inches
- Eliminates contact between the stock drive shaft and oil pan on automatic transmission models.
- After lifting your Jeep JK Wrangler a CV (Double Cardan) drive shaft is a good choice to eliminate vibration issues and provide the longest lasting drive shaft.
- Includes Brute Force Red seals
- Includes better quality CV joints.
- Shaft strength is twice as strong as the factory equipped drive shaft.
- Grease fittings are out of the way of the transmission oil pan meaning you get grease to the joints that need it and not all over the botom of your Jeep.
Notes - Important
- ONLY fits Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axle models.
- Recommended on models with 3.5in - 6in of lift.

Jeep JK Driveshafts & U-Joints for Wrangler (2007-2018)
Driving on unpaved surfaces puts additional pressure and stress on all off-road vehicles. Vital components must be able to handle the extra weight and torque needed to cruise through mud puddles, riverbeds, and snow. Jeep Wrangler JK driveshafts, u-joints and other drivetrain components like lockers - and - axles absorb a tremendous amount of wear and tear if they are not designed for extreme off-road use. They can, and often will, develop a whining noise that is the result of premature wear. In order ensure performance and avoid costly future repairs, it is often a good idea to replace the JK's factory-made driveshaft and u-joint with parts that are specifically designed for off-road use.
Fitment Includes:
- 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK
- Islander, Rubicon, Sahara, Sport, Unlimited Wranglers
