Hi,
Hyundai does not provide specific information on the location or replacement of the crankshaft position sensor; however, it is located at the rear of the engine near the starter.
I was able to find a few pics that should help you locate it.
Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.
Take care,
Joe

Help needed.
I have a 2004 Sonata ( 4 Cyl 2.4L). 110k miles
Driving yesterday and car stalled and didn't start back up. Cranked a few more times, and started, drove it short distance home.
Check Engine Light came on. I have a cheap reader, and it showed P0335. Crank Position sensor possibly. I read it's a common failure.
I ordered part (
39310-38060) and now I have no idea where it goes, I can't find any
clear videos or diagrams.
Can anyone suggest a video or link to a diagram of where it is ?
Gratefully in advance!
