1984 Buick Electra Park Avenue

Up for auction is a nice 1984 Buick Electra Park Avenue. This is the last year for the full size RWD body. These cars are hard to find today in nice condition and especially with leather interior! I purchased this car last summer here in Texas from the original owner who was in her mid 90s and no longer drove. It was garage kept from day one. Shows 41K miles, could be original but true mileage unknown. This color combination is one of my favorites. The original headliner is intact and not sagging at all. Original vinyl roof still soft with no cracks. After carb warms up engine idles smooth and car runs and drives great with good power. Transmission shifts good with no issues. A/C and heat work great. Had plans to keep this one but another car I really liked became available and I need to let this one go to a new owner who will enjoy it.

***Bumper fillers are INCLUDED with the sale for the new owner to paint and fit! These cost over $500 and are very hard to come by. They are ABS plastic that will far outlast the original rubber.
Also included is factory GM service manuals. Also have window sticker.

Here are some thing I did after I got it.
New Plugs Wires Cap and Rotor.New O2 SensorNew transmission filter and Torque converter lockup solenoidNew valve cover gaskets. Old ones leaking quite a bit. Had to remove the AIR pump tubing to get valve covers off so I removed the AIR system. The computer does not need it, there is no check engine light. Air is only injected into exhaust when the engine is cold and bypasses when warm. ALL the AIR parts are in a box and will be included.New Gates BeltsNew Cat Back Walker exhaust with resonator and Stainless muffler. Exhaust is quiet like it should be.New carpeted floor mats. Originals were missing.
Here are some known issues Paint looks good from a distance but upon close inspection the paint is checking especially on the hood and has many scratches and nicks.
One rust spot at bottom of drivers side A pillar but none whatsoever any other place on the body. Usual LIGHT surface rusting on undercarriage. (See Photos)
All power windows and locks work but not as fast as when they were new.
Not all functions of Power side view mirrors function.
Appears drivers power seat track had been replaced with different type and only goes back and forth with the switch. Passenger seat motor runs but seat doesn't move.
I don't drive the car much and battery seems to get low after several weeks of sitting so I keep a battery tender on it to keep it topped off.
Tires are older but still have good tread.
